Black Art Matters Project

During the pandemic and following the killing of George Floyd, Blank Slate Elyria was looking for ways collaborate with emerging Black artists. Eventually we landed on the concept of doing video recordings of live musical performances which would be interspersed with an interview that was also done with each artist. I was camera operator, and editor for this project with audio engineering by Ben Wolgamuth. Coordination of the project was organized by Lorain County musician akafayaven.

“Friends With Boys” Music Video for Flipcoin

I was asked to be cinematographer and camera operator of this video for the Cleveland based band Flipcoin. It was shot over two days with around 30 extras and staff. It was directed, story-boarded and edited by Jenny Weathers.

South Korea Travel Video

I traveled to South Korea in 2019. At the time I was recording video during the trip for no particular reason and in 2020, looking for something to do, I decided to edit the footage to the song “Outside” by UK Dream Pop artist Art School Girlfriend. The channel the video is on also contains some of my other personal video and editing work.
